What's on now at CBS?
The heart of Campus Bible Study is the community of Christians who gather in 2s & 3s, with small groups from their faculty, or in a large group from across the campus – lots of different formats, but one common goal: prayerfully engaging with God through his Word in order to know and serve him! We often summarise this with our mission statement:
Â
Prayerfully proclaiming the crucified Christ as Lord of all, we evangelise, teach, train and send each other, as God’s servants into all the world.
We would love you to personally invest in this same mission on campus at UNSW! Around this essential core, there are lots of activities that support and enable the work. Below are details of some current opportunities to make the most of during your time at Uni.
Â
Join us for Flex Week!
Make the most of the great opportunity to connect with others, think deeply about money and how we use all that we have to honour our Lord! Running on both Tuesday and Wednesday, we have Andrew Hingston joining us to think about how to practically manage money and housing in our confused and obsessed world!

Summer 2026 :
Gather – Grow – Go
The start of the year is such a crucial time for our ministry as we welcome and connect with hundreds of new students! To do this, we need to be inviting students to Welcome Day, coming to Kick-On where we can be trained (and catch-up!), and serving in O-Week as we reach out to the thousands of students on campus! Even now, make sure these dates are in your diary and you plan to start 2026 on mission on campus!
Welcome Day – invite first years – Friday 6 Feb
Kick-Off – come and be trained – Saturday 7 Feb
O-Week – connect with new students – Mon-Thu 9-12 Feb

Sign up for Term 3!
Think about how to use your time on campus to serve (seek to meet and speak twice a week) and train. crossangles.app is a great resource to help plan your timetable, and then you can sign-up here.

Discover Jesus
This term we are launching a new evangelistic Bible study called Discover Jesus! It will be an excellent place to bring classmates, those you meet during walk-up or at Sport and Hangs, international students and high school friends. Basically, it will be a friendly place for anyone to come and meet others, read the Bible, ask their questions and discover Jesus! They will meet on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 11-12 in the Quadrangle (when many of us have faculty Bible studies) so it will be easy to bring a friend and connect them in. If you would like to get involved or find out more, chat to any of the staff. And please PRAY and INVITE your friends to Discover Jesus!

Mission Prayer Groups
UNSW is such an immense mission field that rightly absorbs lots of our focus. But the whole world belongs to God and owes Him glory and needs Jesus. So we joyfully partner with missionaries around the world and have a number of monthly mission prayer groups that grow awareness and connection and engagement with God’s work around the world. If you’d like to find out more and join a group to pray and partner in world mission, contact one of the members below.
